In Loving Memory of Francisco Rodríguez Torrez

Frank Torrez Sr. born on December 2, 1930, in Dragoon, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Tata Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soulmate, Martha Torrez of 74 years and his cherished son, Rolando Torrez. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his loving children: Frank Torrez Jr (Terri Torrez), Sandy Torrez, and Alicia Martínez. His life and love continue through his 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his strength, wisdom, and heart. Tata Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve from June 19, 1950, to June 18, 1953. Following his service, he dedicated himself to a lifelong career in masonry, where his strong hands and tireless work ethic built not only structures, but a foundation of security and stability for his family.

Above all else Tata Frank centered his life around his family. He was the embodiment of devotion, a steadfast provider, the hardest worker and a man whose love was shown through sacrifice, strength, and unwavering commitment. He demonstrated every day what it truly means to be a man of honor, integrity and compassion. To his family, he was “Tata” a guiding presence, a source of wisdom and a constant reminder of unconditional love. His legacy is not only in the generations he leaves behind, but in the values, he instilled: faith, perseverance, humility and family above all. Tata, thank you for everything you have done for us. Until we meet again, we love you always and forever.
