Francisco Varela Gomez

Francisco Varela Gomez, born on July 28, 1968, was a beloved figure whose life touched many hearts. He passed away on November 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy rich in laughter, kindness, and hard work.

Known for his funny and kind-hearted nature, Francisco had an unparalleled sense of humor that endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He possessed a unique ability to turn even the most mundane moments into joyful memories with his light-hearted jokes. Even when the punchline fell flat, those around him couldn’t help but laugh, simply because it was Francisco who said it. His spirit radiated warmth, making every gathering brighter and every challenge a little easier to face.

Francisco’s dedication to his work was evident throughout his life. He approached every task with determination, embodying a work ethic that inspired those around him. His resilience and commitment were foundational to his character, shaping the relationships he built with others in both his personal and professional life.

He leaves behind a devoted family that includes his son, Francisco Gomez "Frankie"; daughters, Cristina Gomez and Marisol Marquez Gomez, along with her partner Gerardo Tebaqui; and cherished grandchildren, Idali, Daniela, Valentina, Everardo, and Javier. Each of them carries a piece of his joy and laughter in their hearts, continuing his legacy of love.

Further enriching his life, Francisco is survived by his mother, Yolanda Leticia Varela Chacon, and his brother, Victor Manuel Gomez Varela, who shared countless experiences with him over the years. These familial bonds were a source of strength and unity, grounding him in the love of those who knew him best.

He was preceded in death by his father, Javier Alfonso Gomez,; brother, Javier Alfonso Gomez Varela.
