Francisca Agustina Mejia

Francisca Augustina Mejia also known as Pancha.

Sadly, passed away on February 11th, 2022, at University Medical Center.

Services will be held on February 25th, 2022, at Martinez Funeral Home in

Tucson, Arizona.

Francisca is survived by her son Carlos Escalante & Daughter Martina Martinez,

She had seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Pancha also survived by

seven brothers and three sisters.

Francisca A. Mejia was born August 28, 1946, in Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico.

She grew up in Douglas, Arizona and lived most of her adult life in Tucson, Arizona.

Pancha, was caring and loving to all her family. Especially to her children and grandchildren. She was a mom and grandma to most of us. Pancha was also the oldest of 11 Children. She liked to have her family around her and loved to cook for all.

She really knew her way around the kitchen.

She was very spiritual and was always giving you her blessing whenever she saw you. With our prayers and her love. God will welcome her into his arms. She will be greatly missed by her immediate and extended family. We know she will be giving blessings from up above from the Lord’s side, that she believed in so much. As you move on to the next stage because death is not the end. We love you and we will miss you with a broken heart. Please Take care of us till we meet again Nana.
