Frances Sanchez

Frances Sanchez, born on March 7, 1953, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona.

Frances had a vibrant and outgoing personality, characterized by her bright smile and infectious laughter that could easily fill a room with joy. She cherished the moments spent with her family and took immense pride in hosting holiday gatherings that created lasting memories for those she loved. Her passion for being surrounded by family was evident in her nurturing nature, which extended to her role as a doting grandmother, spoiling her 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, creating joyful experiences and cherished memories for all.

In addition to her devotion to family, Frances was known for her spirited discussions on social media, often engaging in lively debates about politics. This passion reflected her strong opinions and enthusiasm for advocacy, showcasing her vibrant personality that extended beyond her close circles.

Frances leaves behind her beloved spouse, Rudy Sanchez, and their sons, Anthony Trujillo, Anthony Trujillo Jr.  Alex Trujillo, Jessie Ramirez (Maria) and Elijah Trujillo, Steven Rendon (Diana), along with daughters Monica Bueno (Ivan), Jozett Sanchez and Yvette (Andrew) Grijalva. She is also survived by her brothers, Joe (Monica) Acedo and Javier Acedo; as well as her sisters, Christina Acedo, Nellie (Bill) Ohlmeyer, and Irene Acedo. The legacy of love and joy she leaves behind will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege to know her. Frances Sanchez will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories and lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Trujillo, parents, Ramon and Maria Acedo and brother, Ramon Acedo and Jesus Acedo.
