Felix Ricardo Vargas

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Felix Ricardo Vargas, who left us far too soon on May 26, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on July 1, 1969, at Saint Joseph Hospital, Felix lived a life full of energy, humor, and love. He was a man who made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Felix was a devoted father to Alexa Nicole Vargas and Felix Ricardo Vargas Jr, and a loving stepfather to William Valdez, Analyssia Valdez, and Adriana Rico. Felix was a beloved son to Maria Carrera. A beloved brother to Patricia Torres, Jose Vargas, and Yolanda Vargas. Beloved uncle to Sabrina Herrera, Jose Armando Vargas, Luis Torres, Emilio Torres, and Alicia Vargas. He was also a beloved great uncle to Madievial J. Cardenas , Aubrey A. Ramirez and Arjay E. Herrera , Jäger O. Torres and Jace A. Vargas. He Proceeds by his father Felix R Vargas and his grandparents Ricardo J. Salazar and Juanita G. Salazar.
His family was the center of his world, and he showed that love in countless ways especially during those late nights spent playing basketball with his children, tossing the football around, or enjoying a game of baseball at Los Ninos Park. These memories will remain forever etched in their hearts.

Known for his intelligence and drive, Felix was the kind of man who could do anything he set his mind to. He was passionate about everything he did and spoke with heart and conviction. He had a deep love for sports baseball, football, and basketball, carrying that passion into the time he spent with his kids and doing in his free time.

Felix had a gift for making people laugh. His sense of humor, quick wit, and warm personality made him a friend to all. Whether sharing a joke, striking up a conversation with a stranger, or lighting up a room with his smile, Felix had a way of connecting with people that was truly special.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through his children, his family, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, June 7th, from 10:00am to 12:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Hall 2580 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85713.

After life celebration will be held next door from 12:00pm to 2:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Hall 2580 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85713.
