Enrique V. Lopez, 89, of Tucson, Arizona, passed peacefully into the arms of his heavenly father on October 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 14, 1936, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, to the late Maria Jesus Valenzuela and Francisco Lopez.

Enrique lived most of his life in Tucson, where he worked hard as a pipefitter, providing for his family with dedication and strength. Known for his joyful spirit and sense of humor, Enrique brought laughter and warmth wherever he went.

He found happiness in the simple things such as fishing, playing his guitar, singing, and in his younger years, riding horses. Enrique’s love for music and his cheerful nature made him a light to everyone who knew him.He is survived by his wife, Reyes; his children Laura, Frank, and Denise; and his stepchildren Beatriz, Armando, and the late Lupita. Enrique was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Hector Soto, and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.A service in honor of Enrique’s life will be held on Friday, December 5th at Martinez Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, we find peace knowing that Enrique is now with God, happy, whole, and free.Te amo mi amor, con todo mi corazón, por toda mi vida 🕊❤️
