In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Mother, Nana, Sister, Tia and Friend. The peaceful passing of Elsa P. Quevedo, age 85, occurred on July 31, 2025, in Tucson, AZ. Born on January 8th,1940 in Guaymas, Mexico, Elsa's spirit touched countless lives with warmth, kindness, laughter and love. Elsa moved to the United States in 1970. She built a life filled with family and faith. She was a homemaker, a skilled cook known for her comforting dishes. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she always offered a helping hand or a comforting word to those in need. Elsa’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Roberto O. Quevedo a loving mother to Arturo (Pat), Jorge (Lorena) and Francisco (Capi). Nana to Lizette (Matthew), George, Sara, Francisco Jr. (Rosalia), Patricia (Salvador), Robert Jr. (Genisa), Lorraine (Jonathen). 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Siblings Francisco, Elba, Maria Amalia, Luis Parra. She is preceded in death by her parents Amalia, Francisco, daughter Amparito and siblings Martha, Graciela, Amparo. Elsa’s love for others was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. While she has departed from this earth, she will remain alive in our hearts. She will be deeply missed. Philippians 1:3 reads, "I thank my God every time I remember you”. El amor de Elsa por los demás fue un regalo para todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla. Rosary will be August 21st at 5-9pm at Martinez Funeral Chapels 2580 S. 6th Ave. Mass will be Friday August 22, 10:30am Santa Cruz Church. Followed by burial at South Lawn Cemetery 5401S.
