Dora Gamez Gonzalez

Mrs. Dora Gamez Gonzalez, a woman cherished for her kindness and love, passed away on March 23, 2024. She was born on October 5, 1927.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family members. Dora is survived by her children; Alberto Castaneda (Fallecio), Alicia Aguirre, Dagoberto Castaneda, Elvia Castaneda and Francisco Castaneda, grandsons; Miguel Aguirre, Miguel Angel Castaneda and Jesus A, Castaneda, great-grandchildren; Adrian Aguirre, Danitza Aguirre and Destiny Aguirre, great-great-grandchildren; Adrian Aguirre and one on the way.

To honor her life, visitation services will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson on April 12, 2024, starting at 8:00 am. A Mass will follow at Santa Cruz Catholic Church at 11:00 am. The final burial service will take place at Holy Hope Cemetery at 11:30 am.

Dora will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace knowing she was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
