Dolores Castro Fern

Our mother Dolores Fern passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 21, 2021. Dolores was born on July 20, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, Socorro and Eduardo Castro and husband, John Fern of 18 years. Survived by her daughters, Maria Fern, Virginia Fern and Irene Lopez ( Rene); 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Fabris (Alex), Mary Castro, Aurelia Castro and Angie Felix (Alfred); brothers, Frank (Alma Alica), Mario (Yolanda), Philip (Irene), Marcos (Mary Ellen), and Ruben. Our mother was a very loving and kind person to who ever she met. We as a family shared very good memories with her. She loved to cook, her favorite foods were her famous tacos and chicken rice soup. Dolores loved music and dancing specially to Little Joe. Our family will always carry her in our heart. Her services will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels 2580 S 6th Ave from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. with a Rosary at 9:00 am. Mass at St. John’s Church 602 W. Ajo Way at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
