Christine Marie Rhodes Dalton, born on April 20, 1964, in Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026. Christine’s life was marked by a steadfast dedication to her family and community, a trait evident in her many years working diligently in the school cafeteria where she was known not only for her hard work but also for her kind and forgiving nature.
Christine was a woman of great warmth and spirit, blessed with a wonderful sense of humor that brought light and laughter to those around her. Memories of her doing funny things and laughing out loud are cherished by all who knew her, a true testament to the joy she spread throughout her life.
An integral part of her joy came from her beloved grandchildren—Aiden, Zander, and Zaylie Dalton—whom she adored with all her heart and soul. She took great delight in watching movies with them and sharing simple pleasures like eating kettle corn, moments that were filled with love and genuine happiness.
Christine’s commitment extended beyond her immediate family; she was a tireless supporter of the basketball team coached by her husband, Gilbert Dalton. Her pride in and support for her husband’s coaching pursuits highlighted her deep loyalty and loving partnership.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Gilbert Dalton, her sons Matthew and Adam Dalton, and her daughter Amanda Dalton. She is also survived by her cherished sisters Pauline and Guadalupe (Peewa). Each held a special place in her life, reflecting the strong family bonds she prized so highly.
Christine will be remembered not only for her hard work and responsibility but for the kindness and forgiveness she showed every day.
