Chionia Martin

Chionia Martin, affectionately called “Chi”, passed away at the age of 76 comfortably at home on November 27, 2025. Born on December 06, 1948 to Parents Thaddeus Martin and Ozell Martin in Dermott, Arkansas, who preceded her in death along with her oldest sister, Myrtle Marshall, niece, Myrtle L. Marshall and brothers, Thaddeus, Otis and Ossie Martin. Chi is known for her spunky nature and the love she had for her family. She was an employee of Miller Brewing Company for 38 years in the Admin Department. While at Miller in her younger days she enjoyed playing softball with her work colleagues, participating in bowling leagues and serving our country in the Army Reserves. 

Chi is survived by her two children, Marcus Keith Martin (Nicoal) (GA), Charo Dee Martin-Kingsby (WI). Her grandchildren, Marcella Arington (AR), Marcus Martin Jr., Natalia Martin and Xavier Martin (TX), along with 13 great grandchildren. Her loving siblings, Willie Jean Neal, Joel Lyn Martin (Charlene) (TX), Leroy Martin (Gwen), Ivanda Patrice Freeman (Charles), (AR), Jerry Martin (Gertrude), (WI) and a host of nieces and nephews.
