Cecilia L. Sanchez

Cecilia L. Sanchez, born on June 2, 1942, in Patagonia, AZ, passed away peacefully in her home on April 2, 2026. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Reynaldo Sanchez (Buddy), her brother Alex Laguna and sister Adelina Tapia. Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Alma Yslava, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and Tía. Cecilia found immense joy in spending time with her family, including her beloved grandchildren, Cassandra, Letty, and Michael (Michaela), as well as her great-grandchildren, Landyn, Aleena, Logan, and Luke. She is also survived by her nephew Arnold and nieces Merlinda and Anabel.

After moving to Tucson, Cecilia and her husband, Reynaldo, created a warm and welcoming home where they raised their daughter Alma. A passionate fan of the Arizona Wildcats, she cherished every moment spent cheering for her team. Cooking for her family was another of her greatest joys filling their lives with delicious meals and laughter.

Cecilia’s love for bingo reflected her spirited personality and her ability to bring people together. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with kindness, warmth, and unwavering support.

In honoring her memory, the family invites all who knew Cecilia to join them in celebrating her life, sharing stories, and remembering the joy she brought to so many. At her request, there will be no services held.

Rest in peace, dear Cecilia. Your love will forever remain in our hearts.
