Carolina “Clarita” Quintero passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on August 17, 1949, she will be remembered with deep love as a joyful, positive, warm, and outgoing woman whose presence brought comfort and happiness to so many. She was loving and caring by nature, a very happy grandmother, and someone who made people feel welcome wherever she was.

Clarita found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. She loved going to the stores, visiting the casino, spending time in Tumacacori, and, above all, opening her home to others. She truly loved having people over and cooking for them, and her food was cherished by everyone who gathered around her table. Some of the most treasured family memories were the holidays spent together, made even more special by the wonderful meals she prepared with such love. Her home and her hospitality reflected who she was: social, generous, and full of heart.

Among the moments she held most dearly were becoming a grandmother, buying her home, and beginning her work at the hospital. These were milestones that brought her great pride and spoke to the devotion, determination, and love she carried throughout her life. She created a life centered on family, hard work, and caring for others, and that legacy will remain with all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved spouse, Manuel Quintero; her children, Ricardo Arizpe, Jesus Salvador Chavez, Gabriela Quintero, and Carmen Espinoza; her brother, Oscar Arizpe; and her sister, Alma Rosa Arizpe. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Krishna, Annelis, Raziel, Nicol, Michelle, Ivanna, Isabella, Carlos Ivan, Camila, and Chuy, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her family will carry forward the love she gave so freely, the warmth she shared so naturally, and the joyful spirit that made her unforgettable.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Chavez, and her father, Humberto Arizpe.

Visitation will be held on September 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, 891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ 85621. A Mass will follow from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at San Felipe de Jesus Parish, 1901 N Jose Gallego Dr, Nogales, AZ 85621. Interment will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Nogales City Cemetery, W Western Ave, Nogales, AZ 85621.

Carolina “Clarita” Quintero will be remembered for her loving care, her welcoming spirit, her delicious meals, and the happiness she brought to family gatherings and everyday life. Her love lives on in the family she treasured and in the memories that will continue to bring comfort for years to come.

Carolina “Clarita” Quintero falleció el 16 de septiembre de 2026, a los 77 años de edad. Nacida el 17 de agosto de 1949, será recordada con profundo amor como una mujer alegre, positiva, cálida y extrovertida, cuya presencia brindaba consuelo y felicidad a tantas personas. De naturaleza cariñosa y atenta, fue una abuela muy feliz y alguien que hacía sentir bienvenidos a los demás dondequiera que estuviera.

Clarita encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos y significativos de la vida. Le encantaba ir de compras, visitar el casino, pasar tiempo en Tumacácori y, sobre todo, abrir las puertas de su hogar a los demás. Disfrutaba enormemente recibir visitas y cocinar para ellas; sus platillos eran apreciados por todos los que se reunían alrededor de su mesa. Algunos de los recuerdos familiares más preciados son las fiestas y celebraciones compartidas, que se volvían aún más especiales gracias a las maravillosas comidas que ella preparaba con tanto amor. Su hogar y su hospitalidad reflejaban quién era ella: una persona sociable, generosa y de gran corazón.

Entre los momentos que más atesoraba se encuentran el haberse convertido en abuela, la compra de su casa y el inicio de su trabajo en el hospital. Estos hitos le llenaban de orgullo y reflejaban la dedicación, la determinación y el amor que demostró a lo largo de su vida. Construyó una vida centrada en la familia, el trabajo arduo y el cuidado de los demás; ese legado perdurará en todos aquellos que la conocieron.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Manuel Quintero; sus hijos, Ricardo Arizpe, Jesús Salvador Chávez, Gabriela Quintero y Carmen Espinoza; su hermano, Oscar Arizpe; y su hermana, Alma Rosa Arizpe. También deja a sus queridos nietos: Krishna, Annelis, Raziel, Nicol, Michelle, Ivanna, Isabella, Carlos Iván, Camila y Chuy, cada uno de los cuales ocupaba un lugar especial en su corazón. Su familia continuará transmitiendo el amor que ella brindaba tan generosamente, la calidez que compartía con tanta naturalidad y el espíritu alegre que la hizo inolvidable.

Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Carmen Chávez, y su padre, Humberto Arizpe.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el 22 de septiembre de 2026, de 11:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. en Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, 891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ 85621. A continuación, se oficiará una misa de 1:30 p. m. a 2:30 p. m. en la parroquia San Felipe de Jesús, 1901 N Jose Gallego Dr, Nogales, AZ 85621. El sepelio tendrá lugar de 3:00 p. m. a 4:00 p. m. en el cementerio municipal de Nogales (Nogales City Cemetery), W Western Ave, Nogales, AZ 85621.
