Nogales

Carlos David Chavez, a beacon of laughter and love, was born on September 2, 2002, in Nogales, Arizona, where his journey of life also came to a close on March 6, 2026. From the beginning, Carlos’s presence was marked by a heart larger than life itself, a spirit that yearned for joy, connection, and the simple pleasures that bring people together.

Known for his infectious smile and a laugh that filled any room, Carlos was more than just a son, a brother, or a friend—he was a source of warmth and light. He had an innate ability to draw people close, especially children, even strangers. His love for kids was unmistakable; he would effortlessly play with them and lift their spirits, making them laugh with genuine ease. His jovial nature reflected a deep kindness and an unspoken desire to spread happiness wherever he went.

Carlos faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength and grace, always putting on the biggest smile and lifting those around him with his jokes and humor. A true jokester at heart, he found comfort and gave joy through laughter, dancing, and an optimism that was truly inspiring. Dancing was one of his greatest pleasures, a joyful expression of his vibrant spirit that never failed to bring smiles to his family and friends.

Beyond his lively personality, Carlos nurtured dreams as unique and imaginative as he was. He loved the film The Truman Show and harbored a heartfelt ambition to move to Minnesota to open an exotic animal farm, fueled by his profound love for animals. This dream was a testament to his compassionate soul and his wish to create a space of wonder and care.

Family meant everything to Carlos; he longed always for closeness and togetherness, cherishing each moment shared. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Jessica S Arizpe, and his maternal grandparents, Oscar Arizpe and Margarita Norzagaray. He leaves behind his paternal grandmother, Ana Chavez, and his brothers Sergio Rene Chavez, Francisco Xavier Chavez, and Damian Inzunza, who carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.

He is preceded in death by his father, Sergio Rene Chavez; his paternal grandfather, Daniel Chavez; and his brother, Isaac Inzunza, who watch over him from beyond.

Carlos David Chavez's life, though brief, was filled with joy, laughter, and an enduring hope that remains a light in the hearts of those who knew him. His contagious smile, his passionate dance, and his big, caring heart will forever be treasured.
