Bernabe Negrete Delgado

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernabe Delgado Negrete, also known as "Bernie," of Tucson, Arizona on November 17, 2025. Born on April 25, 1960, to Rafael and Concepcion Delgado, Bernie lived a full and entertaining life. He was a person who embodied the qualities of love and kindness throughout his life, touching the hearts of everyone he met with his warm spirit and gentle demeanor.

He was a beloved husband to Maria Lourdes Delgado for 43 years and a dedicated father his sons: Alejandro, Marcos, Rafael, Michael Delgado, proceed in death of three sons: Bernabe Jr, Baby Mark, Baby Michael Delgao. Bernie's family was his pride and joy, and he always made sure to keep them laughing with his quick wit and sense of humor.

Bernie attended Catalina High School where he excelled in academics and was known for his love of baseball. He pursued a career at Watson Chevrolet, where he worked until his illness in 2008. His coworkers will always remember him for his positive attitude and ability to make even the toughest days brighter.

Outside of work, Bernie's hobbies included coaching his sons from the bleachers baseball, fishing with his buddies, and grilling up a storm at family BBQs. He was always the life of the party and could often be found telling jokes or sharing stories that had everyone in stitches.

Though Bernie's passing leaves a hole in our hearts, we know that he is now in a better place, cracking jokes and making new friends wherever he goes. Rest in peace, Bernie, and may your humor and love live on in the hearts of those who knew you.
