In his younger years, Benny embarked on a career as a DJ, sharing his passion for music with countless individuals who were touched by his talent. Later on, he transitioned to becoming a skilled barber, honing his craft and making a difference in the lives of those who sat in his chair.

Benny's commitment to his family was unwavering. He treasured every moment spent with them and created lasting memories during visits back home. His love for his sons, Benny Jr "BJ"  and Kortez, was immeasurable and drove him to be the best role model he could be.

His long drives in "Bertha," the name he affectionately gave to his Cadillac, provided him with yet another form of escape as he listened to music that moved him deeply.

Education played an essential role in shaping Benny's journey. As the youngest graduate from his class at Saguaro High School, he exhibited determination and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. This thirst for knowledge continued throughout his life as he embraced new experiences and opportunities for learning.

Benny's genuine and giving nature allowed him to effortlessly connect with people from all walks of life.
