Born on December 9, 1945, in Sahuaripa, Mexico, he was the cherished son of Ernesto Roman and Maria de Jesus Merancio de Coronado. Throughout his life, Benjamin was known for his loving and caring nature, touching the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

A visitation to honor Benjamin’s memory will be held on April 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, located at 891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ 85621. Following the visitation, a Mass in celebration of his life will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 N Rodriguez St, Nogales, AZ 85621, beginning at 2:00 p.m. and concluding at 3:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all who knew Benjamin are invited to come together to pay their respects and remember a man who exemplified love and generosity.
