Aurora Garate

Aurora Garate, 82, of Tucson passed away on February 09, 2019. She is survived by her sons; Bernardo, Antonio and Arturo Garate, daughters; Carmen Garate and Aurora Valenzuela Garate, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bernardo Garate Urea. Aurora was a seamstress by trade who also loved to cook. She raised her children at a very young age and then went on to love her grandchildren with all her heart. She was nana "querida". She was a very happy and talkative person whose smile will always be remembered. The funeral services will continue in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday from, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a Mass will held at Catedral Santuario at 2:00 p.m.
