Arthur Monreal Godoy

Arturo Godoy was born in Tucson, Arizona on June 20, 1942, he grew up in Barrio Anita and passed away peacefully on October ,11 2022. He was retired from the City of Tucson after 19 ½ years as a Custodial Supervisor. He had many stories about his upbring and his work life. He had his favorite words and made us laugh;

He was an avid 49ers fan. He is survived by the mothers of his children, Carmen, Olivia Godoy, his children: Danny, Richard, Ronnie, Dorena, Arturo, Linda, Evelyn, Art, Alex, Brothers: Salvador, Robert Peter "Billy "George. Sisters: Manuela, Velia. Proceeded in death by parents Albino and Jesusita Godoy, his brother Joseph, Jesus, Albino, his sister Rosario, and son Fernando. Arturo had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be truly missed by many. Services for Arturo will be held at Martinez Mortuary 2580 S. 6th Ave on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 8:00 AM- 11:00 AM and burial will follow at the Holy Hope Cemetery
