My dearest loved ones,
It is with profound and unimaginable sorrow that I, Rosa Felix, share the heart-wrenching news of the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved son, Armando Felix Castro Jr. He left us far too soon on January 5, 2026, leaving an emptiness that words cannot truly capture.
Armando’s radiant spirit lives on through his devoted parents, Armando Castro and myself, Rosa Felix. He was a cherished brother to Lorena Ayala, Nayla M. Castro, and Shayla M. Castro, and a loving uncle to Gael H. Ayala. His memory will also be treasured by his grandparents, a wide circle of aunts, uncles, and countless cousins who adored him deeply. The bonds he forged with each of us were unique and unbreakable.
From the moment he came into our lives on September 16, 1999, Armando illuminated every room he entered. He was a vibrant, authentic soul who lived each day with an unapologetic zest for life. Armando embraced his identity with pride, cultivating deep connections within his community and inspiring others to be their true selves. His infectious laughter and unparalleled sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days, and his respect for others was matched only by his fierce protectiveness of those he held dear. Whether you knew him as "Elfie" or "Mingo," you knew a man who taught us all how to live boldly and love deeply.
Armando’s passions were as colorful and diverse as his spirit. He found beauty in the vibrant hues of orange, blue, and aqua teal, colors that mirrored his fascination with the natural world – from the boundless depths of the ocean to the majestic expanse of the stars. He found joy and escape in the intricate narratives of anime and the immersive worlds of video games, while music of all genres served as a constant soundtrack to his life. His gentle heart extended to all creatures, particularly giraffes, pandas, and the myriad wonders of the sea.
Above all, Armando cherished his independence, forging his own path with courage and conviction. He possessed a heart of pure gold, always ready to offer an open ear, a comforting shoulder, or unwavering support to anyone in need. His radiant smile had the power to make everyone feel seen, accepted, and truly valued. To have known Armando was a blessing, a gift that imprinted a lasting sense of warmth and belonging on every heart he touched.
Though his absence leaves an unfillable void, we find a small measure of comfort in knowing that Armando has been reunited with his beloved sister, Rosisela Felix Castro, who now awaits him at the gates of Heaven. His legacy of love, laughter, and courage will forever guide us.
With deepest sorrow,
Rosa Felix
