Alice's journey began at Lincoln Elementary School in Nogales before attending the prestigious Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind. Recognizing the importance of education and personal growth, she furthered her skills by pursuing vocational training in Arkansas as a switchboard operator. Alice's determination to overcome challenges and never let her disability define her was one of her proudest accomplishments.

During her career, Alice worked as a switchboard operator with Capins Store in Nogales. Later on, she ventured into running a sundry store inside the federal building in Tucson. It was within these professional roles that she crossed paths with the love of her life and future husband.

Aside from her dedication to work and career accomplishments, Alice had many passions that enriched her life. She loved traveling and exploring new places, always seeking opportunities to broaden her horizons. Music played an essential role in Alice's life; she reveled in listening to mariachi music with joyous enthusiasm. Cleaning accompanied by her favorite tunes in the mornings filled these moments with happiness.

Alice possessed an extraordinary personality that endeared her to everyone she encountered. The essence of who she was shone through every interaction. Known for being extremely helpful, selfless, resourceful, and hardworking, Alice always went above and beyond for others without seeking any recognition or reward. Her intelligence complemented these qualities impeccably.

Above all else, Alice cherished her family deeply. They were the heart and soul of her existence. In their company, she found solace and boundless love. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her loved ones were unparalleled.

To honor Alice's memory and celebrate her life, a series of services will be held on October 16, 2023, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth, Arizona. The visitation period will take place from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a Rosay from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Mass, a reverential tribute to Alice's faith and spirituality, will commence at 10:30 AM.
