Alex Bracamonte

Alejandro “Alex” Bracamonte, 30, of Tucson, AZ, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a lifetime of memories that will never be forgotten. Born June 17, 1996, Alex was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son and brother, proud Army veteran, loyal friend, and a man who loved his family fiercely.

He proudly served six years in the United States Army. During his time in the Army, he formed friendships that became some of the most meaningful relationships of his life. That brotherhood extended far beyond his years of service, and the bonds he made with the people he served alongside meant everything to him.

He was tough on the outside, but those closest to him knew there was a much softer side to him. He had a special place in his heart for his wife, his dog Rylie, and, most of all, his daughter. Beneath his tough exterior was a man with an enormous heart. Of all the roles he held in life, being a dad was one of the ones he cherished most. He and his daughter had a bond that was impossible to miss. Every day when he came home, the two of them would light up at the sight of each other. He had a gentle, delicate way with her and always seemed to know how to make her laugh or smile. They spent countless hours lounging together on the couch, playing with toys, and simply enjoying each other's company. Although, anyone who watched them knew that he was often more interested in playing with the toys than she was. His daughter brought out a softness in him that was unmistakable. He could be tough with the rest of the world, but with his little girl, he was different. She had a way of bringing out his most tender and playful side, and he was completely wrapped around her finger. The love he had for her was something you could see every time he looked at her.

He loved the things that made life feel good: being outdoors hunting, sitting around a bonfire with the people he loved, enjoying a drink, eating a juicy steak, and spending time with family. He was never one to turn down a good nap, either. He didn't need much to be happy, especially when the people he loved were nearby. These everyday moments were some of the moments that made him happiest, and they are the memories his family and friends will hold onto most. And then there were the things that simply made him him. Anyone who knew him probably heard his signature, drawn-out response more times than they could count: “That’s craaaazy.” And when invited somewhere, even when it was something planned specifically for him, he somehow always managed to respond, “I’m busy that day.” Those little phrases, his humor, and the quirks that made him uniquely himself are the things his family and friends will continue to hear in their heads and smile about for years to come.

He loved deeply, even if he didn't always show it in the obvious ways. His love could be found in his smile, his humor, the way he loved his wife, the way he cared for Rylie, the friendships he held onto, the special bond he had with his family, and most of all, the way he loved his daughter, Paityn. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deserie Bracamonte; his daughter, Paityn Bracamonte; Rylie; his parents, Catalina Arvizu and Victor Bracamonte; his siblings, Raul Martinez and Lisette Arvizu; and the many family, friends, and loved ones whose lives were better because he was in them.

His life was far too short, but the love he gave was not. He will live on in his daughter's smile, in the heart of his wife, in the memories and stories shared by his family and friends, in the friendships he held so dearly, in stories shared around bonfires, in the laughter he created, and in all the little things that will forever remind the people who loved him of who he was.

And whenever something is just a little unbelievable, a little ridiculous, or completely unexpected, there will always be someone who hears his voice saying, “That’s craaaazy.”

He was deeply loved. He will be deeply missed. And he will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on September 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels.
