Albert "Wilo" R. Rosas, a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 63. Born on March 15, 1962, in Tucson, AZ, Wilo was known for his kind spirit and easy-going nature. He spent many years working in construction, specifically focusing on drywall, where he earned the respect of his colleagues for his dedication and skill.
Wilo was a reserved yet friendly individual, characterized by his calm demeanor and outspoken personality. He took great pride in being a father and grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. His love for family was evident in his commitment to attending family functions and creating lasting memories with his loved ones. Beyond family gatherings, Wilo had a passion for restoring vehicles, which brought him joy and satisfaction.
He is survived by his mother, Yolanda Valdez; his children, Paul, Robert, Eusebio "Chevo," Elizabeth, Paula and Sylvia; his siblings, Ernesto Rosas, Elena Palomarez, Enrique Cruz, and Michael Cruz; his nephew, who was like a son to him, Angel Palomarez; along with his grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by his beloved dogs, Guero and Bear.
Wilo was preceded in death by his father, Ignacio "Nacho" Rosas; step-father, Tony G. Valdez; and brother-in-law, Reyes "Quate" Palomarez.
A visitation will be held in his honor on August 27, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Martinez Funeral Chapels located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713 with a Rosary at 9:30 AM, leading into a Mass at Santa Cruz Catholic Church situated at 1220 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713, beginning at 11:00 AM. Following the Mass, a Burial will take place at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705, at 12:30 PM.
Albert "Wilo" R. Rosas leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, remembered not only for his achievements and interests but also for the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him.
