It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Adrian Marcel Camarena Monroy, who left us on April 13, 2026. Born on November 5, 1956, Adrian lived a life marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Adrian was a self-employed entrepreneur, running a business that helped people legalize cars to Mexico. His work was not just a career but a testament to his generous spirit and desire to assist others in navigating complex processes. Those who knew Adrian admired his kindness and steadfast commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around him.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Adrian’s true joy came from his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Cecilia Monroy, and a devoted father to his children, Franky, Aixa, and Iliana. His eyes truly sparkled when he spoke of his grandchildren, Ayden and Alexander—whom he affectionately called his “little bunnies.” Adrian’s proudest accomplishment was being a father and, above all, a tata to these precious souls.
Adrian’s personality was infectious; he was always making everyone laugh, the undeniable life of the party with his warm jokes and humorous spirit. Family trips were a regular delight, with treasured memories of beach outings, solo vacations with his beloved wife Cecy, and a recent joyful visit to Disneyland with his grandchildren. He loved watching sports events, often surrounded by family and friends, sharing moments that will forever echo in their hearts.
He leaves behind a close-knit family, brothers Angel and Favio Monroy, sisters Mayra Chirinos and Diomarah Monroy, and his loyal dog and faithful companion, Santi. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit forward, cherishing the bonds they shared, He is preceded in death by his parents Rosa Camarena & Angel Monroy.
Services to honor Adrian’s memory will begin with a visitation at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales, AZ, located at 891 W Mariposa Rd, on April 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following this, a Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 N Rodriguez St, also in Nogales, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all who knew him are invited to gather, celebrate his life, and find comfort in one another.
Adrian Marcel Camarena Monroy’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived in the service of others. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, dear Adrian. Your journey on earth has ended, but your story of love and joy carries on.
