Adrian Patrick Avalos, a beloved husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Born on September 9, 1990, Adrian was a kind and generous soul, cherished by all who had the privilege to know him.
Adrian's personality was marked by an unwavering trustworthiness and a loving spirit. Known for his caring nature, he brought joy to many and was admired for his hardworking and dependable character. He took pride in being clean and organized. He was known for his warmth and genuine love for children. He exemplified a spirit of love and dedication, particularly for his family.
Adrian is survived by his devoted spouse of 18 years, Shawn Rains, who shared countless beautiful moments with him. His parents, Martin and Ana Avalos, remain with fond memories of their remarkable son. Adrian was a loving brother to Martin Avalos, Jesse Avalos, Breanna, Romeo, Julian, Viviana, Dominic, Damian, and Vanessa. He celebrated his role as an uncle to his nephew, Jesse Avalos, Jr., and had many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends who all held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Adela Perez, and grandfather, Jose Perez, as well as his great-grandmother, Dolores Brito, with whom he shared a profound bond.
Adrian's proudest accomplishments were centered around his family, illustrating his deep commitment and connection to those he loved. He was especially close to his nephew and had a unique relationship with his grandparents, who nurtured his growth into the caring individual he became.
In honor of Adrian's life and legacy, a visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, AZ, on December 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass celebrating Adrian's life will occur on December 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. He will then be laid to rest at Holy Hope Cemetery, with burial services beginning at 11:30 AM.
Adrian Patrick Avalos will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, making a lasting impact on the lives of all who had the honor of knowing him.
