Jasper Tapia

Jasper “Chopper” Tapia, 38, of Tucson, AZ, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2012. He is survived by his Mother, Margie M. Tapia (Manny Bermudez), Siblings Hector (Anita) Tapia, Natalie Tapia and Mark Bland, Nephew Noè and Niece Ana (his babies) and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hector G. Tapia, Grandparents, Maria Montaño, D. Joe Montaño, Frances Mendoza, Primo Marty Montaño, and Tìo Manny Tapia. He loved his family, friends and never missed an opportunity to make a new friend. Although limited physically, he motivated others with his inner strength, good humor and overall presence. We believe our Lord took him to live the pain free life he longed for. He will be forever missed! Funeral Services will be on Sunday, July 8 with a Viewing from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Monday, July 9, at 9 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral with a burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
